So, I thought I'd quickly throw this post together (because it's been a while since I posted anything. My life has been very boring lately). Hence, a list of my favourite comedians:
Adam Hills: I really love Adam Hills. He's really funny, and he doesn't swear too much and his stand up shows always have these really beautiful messages to them. Inflate people, Touch the Frog, etc (yes, I really those messages make no sense out of context, but trust me. They're deep and meaningful). Plus, he is quite happy to mock the fact that he has an artificial right foot; and really, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?
Frank Woodley: Frank Woodley is hilarious. The End. I can't say more than that, he is just so funny.
Cal Wilson: Cal is hilarious. I always love watching her, and I've had a few conversations with her on Twitter, so that's cool.
Arj Barker: I love Arj. He's very dry and sarcastic, and that appeals to me.
Sammy J: Another musical comedy act. His humour and songs are very dry, but I love that. Some of his stuff isn't my type, but I do enjoy most of it.
Josh Thomas: I go back and forth on Josh Thomas, but I have one of his albums and one of his DVDs, so... plus, he's a Harry Potter fan, so he gets points for that.
Michael McIntyre: I haven't seen that much of Michael McIntyre, but he has this one bit on a "man drawer" which I still find hilarious no matter how much I watch it. So he's on the list.
Dave Thorton: I came to really know Dave Thorton through his radio show, and I really grew to love him.
Wil Anderson: Wil swears a bit too much at times for me to love him, but I do enjoy watching him.
Hamish and Andy: Ok, so Hamish and Andy don't do stand up (which is why they're not higher on the list) but they do so much comedy through their radio show and TV, and they are such nice guys. I adore them.
